DSM-520 and Greek subs
« on: December 30, 2008, 08:52:39 AM »

Why there is no support for greek subs ?

I 've heard that it's simple for the creators to input a directory in the eu version

Does anyone now?

Is someone from the Mechanics or the Moderators willing to reply ?

Will be availability of the Greek subs?

Will be availability of the new EU firmware ?

I can only provide details for US firmware I do not have any information on EU firmware. English only characters are supported on the DSM-520 US firmware.

I would suggest to hardcode your subtitles into the video using XVid4PSP software. You can download it at www.winnydows.com

Question= If the sub is embedded on a DivX movie, the sub could be displayed as a option no matter the language?

Yes, I am confirming that the EMBEDDED unicode'd subs will be displayed correctly on DSM-520 or DSM-750. I have made a simple test with the DivX video - inserted the Cyrillic subs and re-encoded it with MPEG4. The subs can be removed or changed to the different language no matter what language is (I used XVid4PSP soft).
