Where did it return to?

The cameras home position?

Is it still set? Or did it reset?

If I remember I'll try to power cycle and see what happens.

Whenever I use the phone app, it always goes back go the default (which I never changed).

I believe after a reboot/power outage the camera will return to the default position, not what you have set as Home. I will have a tech test (or Ryat3 who will probably be quicker  ;D ) and see if this is the case.

I assume when you go back into the UI or app, you click Home and it positions properly?

Hello,
I have firmware 2.16.03 and sometimes the camera does not come back to home position after a programmed automatic reboot.
It happens regularly if I am connected at the same time, but sometimes also in the middle of the night when I am not connected.
Is there a trick ?

I have the same issue with Dcs 8525

I experience a lot of power outsges and camera goes back to its factory location after each outage and i am recording irrelevant part of the room most of the times.

I have two cameras and they both behave the same, latest firmware.
