blank password is not a password.

hi..

i'm just bought DNS-320L..
now i want to set up it..
follow the wizard..

they say username is admin...and for password leave it blank..
but the thing is it doesnt work..i can't login it all...it say i got my username and password wrong...

then what is the right password ? how can i reset / set it up ?

what is the password  actually ?

help me solving this please.

The credentials are exactly as you described: admin / blank. To reset the DNS-320L back to the factory default settings, while the DNS-320L is powered-up, press and hold the reset button on the rear or bottom of the unit for > 10 seconds. This procedure will remove all user settings, but should not impact any existing HDD configurations or stored data.

Hello,
I got the same prb. I had to change my login and/or password a logn time ago and can't refind them :-S

Can you confirm this reset wont impact my data (photos), or my ffp configuration ?

Reset to factory defaults does just what it says - it resets anything you have changed via the web interface to what they were when the unit left the factory.  It DOES NOT touch the data on the disks or change the way they are setup.- because of that I assume the settings for fun_plug will remain as they are stored with the data on the disk.
