Any Hope from Dlink?
« on: September 03, 2009, 11:01:33 AM »

So it's been awhile since the 1.12NAB5 Firmware has been released,  but have we any progress on resolving the lockup issue?

It's sad that every day I am rebooting my router to prevent it dying while I am doing work over the Net.

What should customers be doing to rectify this issue?

I'm fairly confident Dlink is working on a fix.  What bothers me most is their lack of communication with users.  A simple acknowledgment would go a long way....

What Dlink corporate doesn't understand is that Westerners like open communication.

It seems odd that d-link is not monitoring this section of the forum where as in another section they are posting almost daily i wonder if its because they will get bombarded so bad that they just wont bother.

I went through the D-Link RMA process and received a new DIR-825 with the 1.01 firmware.

I'm not impressed with their lack of discussion here about the lock-up problem, but at least they are willing to swap the hardware.
