Title: ETA on 2.04 BETA?
Post by: nickCR on August 23, 2010, 10:35:55 PM
Hoping an admin can give us an idea as to when the next version of the firmware will be available.

I think it's wishful thinking to think that dlink is even watching this.
I think this forum is just for us to try to help ourselves cause they can't do it.
and given it took almost a eyar to get 2.03na, don't hold your breath on 2.04...
they'll probably release a new model before then and you'll never see another update...
I speak from experience in using an older dlink router.
this one will be my last.
2.02na is doing the job decent enough for now, with only a few bugs.
2.03na has too many complaints
when i it dies, I'll look at linksys and netgear again to see who's the most responsive on fixes.

Yeah very valid point, hopefully the DD-WRT guys improve the router performance as I've always had rock solid experience with that firmware.

Been running build r15362 on my router for a while and that works great, lots of improvements since they started building firmware for the DIR-825, see:
