Help with Dlink Com - Accessing camera's
« on: March 12, 2014, 01:32:51 PM »

I have 4 942-L camera's set up at home.  Have been away for a few weeks and been having problems accessing them from time to time.  Current state:  ALL 4 show up with a green check mark on my dlink.  Can only access 2 of them - all 4 have stopped sending their "daily picture" - the 2 that I can access - when I "test" the email sending, send the picture correctly.  All camera's have been set to re-boot once per day (just in case they lock up)

So why can I see all 4 on mydlink but only access 2?/  ANY and ALL help would be appreciated.  Dave

Are you having these issues with the mydlink.com website or mobile app(s)?

The problem is with mydlink.com.   I have 6 dlink devices on there.  4 942L camera's, a dlink NAS, and a dlink router.  Can access/reboot the router, the nas, and 2 of the 4 camera's.  Need to access the other 2 camera's.  (the camera's are (and used 2 for a few days) send a DAILY picture - this has also stopped.  Thanks

Do you have issues with mydlink or are the same two cameras always down?

I personally have intermittent access issues using mydlink Lite (Android and iPhone).  I have three cameras and a number of other Cloud devices. One day the live feed for #1, #2, #3 work perfectly; another day #1 is down and #2 and #3 work great; and yet another day #2 goes down and #1 and #3 work.  No pattern that I can elucidate.  Undecided

The "accessibility" moved around from camera to camera for a few days.  Now it's the ame 2 that I can not access for the last couple weeks.  Most frustrating - can "see them" on the site but unable to access them..  Dlink suggested "unplug the camera's" and if this does not work - do a complete "setup again" - might work but I am several thousand kilometers away - so a bit of a stretch to do - and a pain to explain to someone else what needs to happen given the camera locations.

I am observing the exact same issue (with the mobile app). The device show as available (green arrows). I don't use the mydlink website frequently enough to know if my issue also translates to website access as well.

It's a Dlink  DIR-845L (bought in Canada) my NAS is a 327 (bought in USA) - camera's are all 942L (bought in Canada) - everything has the latest firmware updates - all worked 100% for a few weeks before I stated this trip - and for the 1st and 2nd week... now they are "spastic" sure hope they are still recording "triggered events" to the sd cards and NAS.

I will escalate this to my contact at D-Link and will post back if I hear something. Up until now I thought this was an isolated incident.

Are any other mydlink users experiencing this issue? If so, please post your findings as a reply to this thread.
