I am trying to upgrade my camera from 1.02 to 1.03 downloaded from this forum but not successful. I can browse for the download file, but when I click on the upload button, it keep on the reporting "waiting for xx.xx.xx.xx" and never actually do any upload or install. The worst is when this happen, seems like it lost the camera lost the network connection. I have to reset the power to get the camera going again. Is this normal? or am I missing a something?

What browser are you using to upload the firmware? IE works best. If you are using IE11, please see the following thread: Network Camera - IE11 Not Fully Compatible with All Network Camera Functionality (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=58272.0)

Firefox 27.0.1

Try IE and see my prior post regarding IE11.
Please post back and let us know how things turn out!

I have the same issue, and i am using IE 8

Try using the suggested link mentioned for IE11.
I updated mine using IE8 from work and it was successful...

worked fine using IE9 8)

It works now. I switched to use IE 11 (and switched to use wired connection), with exceptions added in the suggested link.

However there is still an issue with the myDlink software: as soon as I've updated the firmware to 1.03, every time when I go into myDlink it notifys me that there is a firmware upgrade. In the end I've accepted to perform "the upgrade" via Dlink and IT DID DOWNGRADED TO 1.02 !!!

I've already notified D-Link of this issue, which started when the security update was released. I am presuming that mydlink does not recognize the security update and is treating that firmware as an older version. Will post back when I learn more. :-\

Thanks for respoding - you are really great with the info that you provide us.
Have you noticed that the 933 is not even showing on the canadian support web page?

Oh That's great!
The firmware posted is still 1.02 B05 ... Hmm... perhaps D-Link is working on fixing the 1.03 firmware.
It was the beta 1.03 that I've downloaded and installed until it got reverted back ...

No, the security patch was posted outside of the normal support channels due to the need to publish quickly and may not have made it's way to the regional D-Link websites.

I heard back from D-Link and they are already aware of this issue.

Security Patch & mydlink Users
mydlink account users who install this security patch on their Cloud camera may be prompted through the mydink.com website or mydlink mobile app to upgrade their Cloud camera firmware. Please disregard this upgrade notice as agreeing to the upgrade may re-install the last available pre-patch firmware version. Due to the urgency of addressing this security concern, this latest firmware was released to the general public prior to being certified within the mydlink service, which does not presently recognize the security patch as the most current official version. D-Link is actively working towards resolving this issue.

That is great for all other 933 users. Me , I've returned the unit.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure D-Link will resolve this as it's just related to the quick release of this particular firmware version.
