For no obvious reason my camera has stopped working.
Now when switched on, it continuously repeats the following sequence:
blue+red lights on together for about 20s, then flash together 3 times
lights off for about 7-8s
red light on for about 5-6s, during which there are two filter clicks
lights off for 7-8s, during which there are two fast filter clicks.
I haven't updated the BIOS recently. I cannot see it using the setup program. I've tried the factory reset but no change.
Is it broken or is there a way to fix this?

Check the power adapter voltage and amps to make sure they are ok. If thats ok, maybe camera is going bad. Hit the reset button for 10 seconds then let go...

I've tried using the power adaptor from a second camera (which works fine), no difference
Also tried the 10 second factory reset, no effect.
Anything else?

Might see if this can bring it back:
Emergency Recovery Mode (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=44909.msg163599#msg163599)
If this fails in any way, I presume the unit is bad. :-\

Can access the emergency recovery screen, but the BIOS update stays at 0% then times out.
After that it goes back to the problem sequence.
Nothing further to do.
Time for the trash.

Ya, probably. Sorry about that.
