HI, It is peculiar that my internet light and then dsl light blinks to disconnect and reconnect or every start of pc. I checked the windows log and mostly  it is mostly the following error
Name resolution for the name _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.domain.name timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
I do not know that this is the error, that disconnects the dsl and internet light on every restart.
Moreover, it seems that the error related to a server kind of pc. I am having only stand alone pc.
I ask that because, i am using dlink router. experts please give solution and also tell me how i get server errors when i am not having any server. experts

FurryNutz:
What Mfr and model PC do you have?
What Mfr and model is the Network Ethernet adapter card? Drivers up to date?
FW up to date on the modem?
Swap LAN cables between PC and modem?
Does a different PC or laptop experience the same thing?

jraju:
My model is Dlink dsl 2730 u, new model
My network adapter is Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller and i downloaded the realtek win 7 ethernet driver from realtek.com
of intel,
Firmware upto date
Tried with xp, with the same net work, but there is no problem. The xp architecture is totally different , i think.
My present OS windows 7 ultimate 32 bit.
One more information: i am having ipv6 support in adapter, but my service provider does not still support ipv6.
Presently using ipv6.
My dlink router dns suffix as per router is domain.name
I am getting alert of warning: wlan auto configuration stopped successfully in every log on.
Can i expect your reply

If this isn't happening with XP and is with Windows 7, I presume there maybe something in Windows 7 causing this behavior. Disable IPv6 in Windows 7 and the network adaptor and see. Not sure what else to check for.
