Hi,

Some Asus (not Mesh) routers are receiving firmware upgrade for Mesh technology, will we be awarded the same benefit? Would our router support Mesh technology with firmware upgrade?

I wouldn't hold your breath. Broadcom was supposed to release a MIMO feature for the 890L after it was released. Haven't seen anything since.  ::)

Alos MESH needs extenders as additional HW I believe. The 890L is a stand alone router. The COVR systems are D-Links MESH.
