You are going to have to define your system (router, computer, OS) before anyone can offer any help

Are you looking to view the camera using a laptop connected either wired/wireless to your home network (LAN)?

What steps did you go through to connect your DCS-932L to your router?
Describe how you configured the DCS-932L.
Were you ever able to view the DCS-932L either on your LAN or mydlink.com?

You'll have to connect the camera to an ethernet port on your router, connecting it to the ethernet port on your computer won't work.  Well, technically it could but definitely not a supported configuration.
