Title: DCS-5300G
Post by: marcelozanetti on December 31, 2010, 08:43:21 AM
Hello,
I have a DCS-5300G for years and I could never get it to work wirelessly. It works fine when it's plugged in to the network but when I unplug it does not go wireless. Looks like I need some help configuring the camera to go wireless, so can someone help me, please?

Thanks,

Marcelo

Read carefully the manual, its explained.

Basically, the cam is a wireless client. Configuring it like a pc client (network SSID, mode (infrastructure if you have a router), kind of encryption, password).
With this settings ok, you can check in your router if the cam is correctly associated to the network, looking for the IP address. With the IP address, you can try accessing it (http://[CAM IP])
