I just installed my new DIR-601 and I'm unable to make phone calls with my VOIP device. The device worked just fine with my previous wireless routers. I verified that the VOIP device itself is not a problem by directly connecting to the DSL modem. So, it is certainly my D-Link router which is the culprit.
I tried disabling SIP ALG in firewall settings. I also tried disabling SPI. None of them helped. Anybody else with similar problems?
Thanks

I had the same problem and found the following link that resolved my problem - all I had to do is upgrade the DIR-601 firmware

Hope this works for you as well!

Thanks Mark. That worked! Really appreciate the help.
I upgraded to the firmware mentioned (1.01NA) and VOIP started to work.
I had sent an email to D-Link support, but the response I got was just not helpful. And the first thing I did when I had the problem with VOIP was to check for firmware updates from the Router's admin interface Tools-->Firmware --> CheckNow and it came back saying there were no new updates.
