ispy audio (microphone device config)
« on: December 30, 2011, 12:59:39 PM »

Just bought a DCS-932L.  I have the video working through ispy but I'm having trouble figuring out how to get the audio working.  For the video, the MJPEG URL that works for me is:
http://192.168.1.2/video.cgi
So, I tried using a VLC microphone URL of:
http://<camera username>:<password>@192.168.1.2/video.cgi
but I'm not hearing any audio through ispyconnect.  Can you offer me any help?

Thank you

This seems to be a recurring issue on this forum. Thus far, no users here have discovered how to directly access the audio feed for third party .

I see you're very active on this forum.  Since I just bought this cam, and I know that you use ispy too, would you recommend I return this cam in favor of another similiarly priced (I think I paid about $115) cam that perhaps integrates a little better with ispy?

Being that this is the D-Link forum, I'm not in a position to recommend one brand over another.
