« on: January 19, 2013, 01:23:05 PM »

Hello,

I have just bought a DNS-320L NAS and i have configured it, but i can't access through DDNS. I have tried with dlinkddns.com and dyndns.org without result. i have forwarded ports but i can't access. Any idea?

Well first you need to check the domain. Try this site and choose A  under "DNS Record Query" and enter your domain. Then on one of your computers, go here.. The two IP's should match. If they do its a port forwarding issue. If they don't its a issue with the DDNS client on the router updating your DDNS profile. I will then reply with the relevant suggestions.

Do you have any firewall? If yes, you have to open the correct ports. Not just the port 80,but the port for the ddns update also.

The ip is updating well. Now, i can access the domain from outside my lan. I have not changed anything, so i don't know what the problem was. I'll check if it continues working.

Thank you.
