Title: Firmware 1.9 is out.
Post by: motherfo on September 20, 2008, 07:06:00 PM
Here is the link: http://support.dlink.com/products/view.asp?productid=DGL-4300# (http://support.dlink.com/products/view.asp?productid=DGL-4300#)

Has anyone tried it yet?

I myself haven't.

Apparently, there is another post that people are still having issues with the Intel 3945ABG Wireless Chipset.

Here's a few questions I have:

Do we know if it solves the issues with the wireless?

Wireless compatibility with the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter?

Xbox Live compatible?

Final release for this product?

Faster/Slower speeds?

Any other issues people are having?

I'm still having problems with it deauthenticating me, and cutting out.  Other than that, it's still fast, and it works.  It also produces more wireless errors.

So, take it as you will.

I am using Intel 3945ABG chipset and it works fine. Just need to update the Intel driver to the latest or later than 11.2 (if I recall correctly).

I've noticed that the wireless signal strength section in the router has to be incorrect.  In the basement it was saying I had 100 % yet, my laptop was only getting around 3 bars.  My desktop was also experiencing the same issue with a DLINK wireless g adapter.

It seems to show incorrect values.

I noticed this on 1.8 and 1.9
