Title: Can't setup new DCS-930L with Mac OS X beta utility
Post by: ThomC on March 29, 2011, 10:05:02 AM
I'm using a Verizon DSL router, Mac D-Link Camera Setup Utility (BETA), and Mac OS X 10.6.7.  Configuration of camera is as recommended in manual with CAT-5 cable.  Green light blinks irregularly in a communicating-with-router manner.  The setup utility won't recognize the camera.  Help!

I'm on Mac 10.6.7, using NetGear router. Setup worked for me OK.
Are you using the default IP address? Or did the router assign a DHCP address? is it in the DHCP range allowed by your router? Do you see any sign of the device? You may want to try the WakeOnLAN.app from http://www.readpixel.com/wakeonlan/ to see what your LAN can see ...
