Title: Blocked outgoing and incoming TCP packets?
Post by: cessna1466u on July 09, 2009, 11:53:58 PM
I keep getting this error along with the dropped connection everyone one seems to have, any ideas what it might be?

Blocked outgoing TCP packet from 192.168.0.246:51398 to 96.17.109.113:80 as RST:ACK received but there is no active connection

Blocked incoming TCP packet from 96.17.109.113:80 to 24.18.171.203:51398 as FIN:ACK received but there is no active connection

Here is my setup:

Comcast 20+mbps speed
Dir-825

Dell Laptop running Vista 64bit

It means SPI is dropping packets that don't match it's state table.  Disable SPI to stop this.

Thanks FatMan, I have had SPI disabled since day one. It was causing my Vonage router to not be able to fax. I have alot of warnings on the log. Maybe you can decipher some of them for me:

By itself received deauth means little, you could be disconnecting normally, or moving out of range, or under oppressive interference, or bounced by the AP itself, or under malicious attack.  I can't tell you from these logs.

And the rest of the messages are either routine or extremely clear as to their meaning from what I can tell.
