iPad Question
« on: October 05, 2018, 06:23:40 AM »

Hey everyone, the updated app with the bug fixes is really working well.  So much so that I am sure you all have extra time on your hands (wink wink).  Any thoughts to a dedicated iPad app, one with customizable live multi-view would be pretty slick.

We have asked the app group several times so hopefully in the future?  I do not know if or when. They are a busy group so not sure about the extra time on their hands  ;D

The latest version does scale full screen now on iPads so that is a very welcome update.  Just a FYI, if you updated the App on a iPad you could get a login error, but if you deleted the app and redownloaded it all was good.

I heard iOS users had login issues after the update. I was home sick yesterday so I did not hear if it got fixed or a reinstall is necessary. Glad it scales to an iPad now but a dedicated app would be nice.

Is it by design that the mydlink app on iPad will only function in portrait orientation?

Portrait is only seen on my Galaxy pad.

Is it by design that the mydlink app on iPad will only function in portrait orientation?

I come from using Mydlink Lite for years, which worked in lansdscape & portrait. I did notice if you click through to the view where only the video is being shown, it will handle landscape or portrait. The entire interface should handle either orientation.

Seconded. I'd love for the mydlink App on iPad to support landscape orientation as well throughout the interface. If you lock the orientation to landscape before opening the app, then even the video view won't enter landscape orientation.

I'd love the iOS app to be updated to allow both orientations.
