So a "LH" in the product name means...

...that the camera can only be administered through the mydlink app and not a web browser? If I for instance need to check recordings on the SD-card of a DCS-8010LH I can only do this using the app?

L mean cLoud services supporting and H I believe means 1080p HD video quality.
Some of the newer camera modes only support mobile app connectivity...

LH = mydlink cameras that support cloud recording (ie DCS-8xxxLH except the 8200LH which is a Home Connect product) which are mydlink app-only. No GUI. No website support (yet).

L was used as the mydlink indicator (I have no idea why L was the letter and not M) so routers, NAS, and cameras with the L support the mydlink system (mydlink.com and the mydlink apps).

H = Home which was the original ending for D-Link Home products but it evolved to mydlink home.
