DIR-601
« on: February 22, 2011, 08:27:06 AM »

Need help; I'm a novice setting up my home wireless network.

Current wireless network config is:

Modem ===> Router [192.168.1.1] -----> Wireless Bridge ===> DIR-601

I'm having trouble setting up the DIR-601.  Just like the manual says, I've:

-disabled UPnP
-disabled DHCP

BUT, when I change the LAN IP to an available address on my LinkSys network [192.168.1.149], I can't seem to come back in to the config utility.  Its not recognized.

I think I can figure out the rest.  Thanks in advance!

Is the router pingable when you change its LAN IP?

Thanks JJ.  I figured out that I need to set it on the same subnet, just not an available address.
