Any customs import duties /taxes? (Assuming shipping).
and some items might fall under export restrictions.

Come on its a gift. For a client in Japan. Not exporting some cam to Iran. SMH

No one is confident enough to answer my question. So I am gonna say you can use it abroad but it must be registered on the US mydlink site.
