Issue: Windows Setup Wizard giving Active X Error on Win7 , IE9
The software on Dlink's site Errors out with trying to install ActiveX. Tried all the stuff they wanted me to do: Turn on ActiveX in IE, Disable my firewall and antivirus ...bla.. bla..bla. Did not work.
I got it working by going to http://tsd.dlink.com.tw/downloads2008detailgo.asp (http://tsd.dlink.com.tw/downloads2008detailgo.asp)
Select DCS and 942L and click Go ...
Wizard: DCS-942L_A1_Wizard _v 1.01_1622( for WW) , Click and it it will download
DCS-942L_A1_wizard_v 1.01_1622.rar
You can use a Free program like jzip to unzip the rar file ... http://www.jzip.com/ (http://www.jzip.com/)
