How to restore config file
« on: February 14, 2021, 11:03:39 PM »

Hi All,
I need to restore configuration backup from 2740u to 2790u. I tried to upload it but it's not accepting the file, it gives an error (Cant remember the error code).
I tried to replicate the setting matching them from GUI. I feel I am missing some other settings, that cause the internet to disconnect every 5-7 minutes.

The 2740u router was provided by the ISP for testing temporarily, so I got the configuration backed up. But I cannot import it. Is there a way to read the file and compare the settings?

These are two different model modems. You can not restore one config file from one model modem to a different model modem.
