- What region are you located?
- Are you wired or wireless connected to the router? you need to be wired to the router with a PC when doing FW updates.
- Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch?
Please review this for doing any FW updates: Link> >FW Update Process (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=42457.0)
Try this if you can't get to the routers web page with a wired LAN PC:
Emergency Recovery Mode (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=44909.msg163599#msg163599)
Let us know how it goes...

I fail to connect to router.
region - Romania
connection - wired
i did so:I use opera. I entered the router settings and I saw that is firmware update.-update- everything is okay- succes - automatic restart- and .. not working, blinking the power button.
I can not connect to router.
I followed these steps: Power down the router and unplug the power cord.Press and hold the reset button on the rear of the router for 3 to 5 seconds and re-plug the power cord without releasing the reset button.Continue to hold the reset button until the amber power light keeps blinking on and off.
the power button stil blinking.

Should be blinking I think. Can you connect to 192.168.0.1 if you set a static IP address on your PC to 192.168.0.49?

I entered, but where do I get firmware image because I did not backup

You have to download the FW file, either v2.06 or v2.07 from your regional support site and unpack the .zip file and use the .bin file to send to the printer when you see the recovery page. Follow the Recovery FAQ process. Use IE or FF. DO NOT USE CHROME!
