Issue about WIFI Connection
« on: June 02, 2020, 07:26:31 AM »

I was trying to upgrade my current router with DIR-636L yesterday. I went through the manual to set up. I could connect my computer to internet with no issue, but when I tried to connect my phone to WIFI, even though it shows strong signal, it couldn't find the server after I clicked 'connect.' I changed the wifi setting and removed password, but it didn't help.

Is there anything I could do / try?

Thank you!

Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
  • Has a Factory Reset been performed?
  • Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch?

  • Was the router working before any firmware updates?

What wireless device are you connecting to the wifi?
Do other devices connect to the wifi at all?
