dir-857 N750 asking for ssid password everytime
« on: November 07, 2012, 01:32:21 PM »

I have two DIR-857 N750 routers, both keep asking for the ssid password each time I connect with any iOS devices! Once I enter the password I can get on the Internet. I'm running firmware 1.02... Anyone know if there is a setting on the router or an issue with the router?

Thanks

I personally use WPA2 Only and AES Only and I don't see my iPhone 4S asking for SSID.

You sure you using the same SSID on each router?

Are both 857s using the same SSID, if so, make sure each 857 is using different channels.

Yes, but different iOS devices and each iOS device never connected to the other dir-857 router.

Are both 857s using the same SSID, if so, make sure each 857 is using duifferent channels.

How are you using each of the 857s? Using one as the main host router and the other as an AP?

No two separate locations with iOS devices that only see one N750 router. Which makes me think it is a setting on the router causing this issue.

Same SSID or different?
Different locations and is one is in a separate building across town or in the same building?

What FW versions are currently loaded? What iOS versions are being used?

FYI, this is a N900 model  ;)
