Is dns-345 a new model or an old one?

I just bought a brand new 345 nas. But the only firmware was released on 2010. So, is the 345 a discontinued device?

The DNS-345 is a brand new product. The NAS had a limited release in Europe and will be fully deployed in the United States and Europe this year. I'm confident that more firmware updates will follow once the unit is fully deployed.
