Awaiting the arrival of my new 932's, after reading several of the camera User Manuals, I was still in the dark regarding the default IP configuration. Finally, in the new DCS-940 manual, they had the insight to include the default IP: 192.168.0.20. Since I don't intend to use the Install Wizard (and don't intend to register the cameras with MyD-Link..), I'll now be able to connect my new cameras directly to my laptop without doing an IP scan, or without going through the bother of letting them DHCP to my router first (assuming of course, that the 930, 932 are similarly configured..).
