Raid Conversions

Hello,

I am looking to upgrade my existing RAID 1 to a Raid 5 without moving data. Is this possible?

From what I've read on these forums, you must reformat the HDDs to migrate from RAID 1 to RAID 5.  There isn't a way to migrate directly between array types.
