D-Link IP Cameras for Home => DCS-8010LH => Topic started by: bmulligan on December 31, 2019, 04:21:14 PM

Set up the 8010 with the D-Link app, enabled the mydlink Alexa skill, linked the Dlink account, and scanned for devices.
Alexa finds the camera but can't display the video on the Echo Show 5. All I get is "Waiting on D-Link " for 5 seconds, then it times out - but I can hear the audio.
I've deleted the camera, disabled the skill, rebooted my devices including router, re-enabled mydlink smart skill, and rescanned for cameras multiple times Same thing. There's even an older "mydlink camera" skill that doesn't appear in a search that I enabled at one point with no success.
Has anyone successfully gotten this thing to work with Alexa and Echo Show ?

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.

We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
