Title: DCS930L connection timeout from 3G ..is there a remedy?
Post by: prasantaonline on June 10, 2012, 12:15:51 AM
I am able to access 930L (2 cams) from wifi be it laptop, iphone or ipad but I am not able to see it through 3g.I have Huawei fibre optics broadband reuter from Starhub.Starhub is running away if ask them to fix it.
Huawei never takes the call.I tried atleast 3 times 10 minutes each at 8006011450.It goes to disconnect.
The lot talked about UPNP is enable in reuter but it does not help.

Now i talked to Dlink support with ticket DCX36811.They advised to load the firmware.I did it still the connection timeout is there. Can someone please help me on this urgently as we have baby to monitor through iphone/android 3g.
thnx

I am having the same issue with 2 diff dlink cameras. Please let me know if they give you a solution. It just started last week. They have always worked on 3 g . My best camera is a dcs-6620g that dlink does not support anymore.

I have the same problem at the default resolution.  Only if I lower mine to 160 X 120 will it work over 3G.  Not sure if this is intended by D-Link or not, but it works.  GL
