DNR 202L cannot find cameras
« on: January 02, 2015, 04:21:07 PM »

Installed four DCS-932L (rev B) cameras wirelessly on my net.  Cameras working great and viewable on mydlink.  However, the DNR 202L fails to find any cameras when using the setup wizard (on a mac).  I have reset the 202L several times, and occasionally, during the setup wizard, it shows up twice on the screen where you add it to your mydlink account.  Trying to go into the IP address of the 202L hangs on login, and I get the error "UnsatisfiedLinkError Can't load library: Users/me/nvr/libffcodec.dylib.  The 202L and the cameras may be on a separate subnet...not sure if that is relevant or not.  Any help appreciated!

L3 discovery is NOT supported on the DNR-202L, so bring your cameras to the same network for the auto discovery to function.  Also, make sure the computer (running the setup wizard utility) is in the same network as the cameras and DNR units.  Let us know how it goes!

No luck here, they are on the same network I can see the camera in the cloud but the DL202 will not find them.
Pretty disappointed with the product sending all 4 cams and the DL2002 back

My DNR-202L couldn't find my DCS-932LB1 either.  You can try going to "Setup" --> "Add Camera" and click on "None" under the "Camera Name" and see if you can manually add it.

Update:  I was able to access my DCS-932LB1 just fine by manually adding it to the camera list.  It seems to work fine now.

Another Update:  I updated the firmware on the DNR-202L from 1.01 to 1.02 and now it can find the DCS932LB1 camera.  This is from another thread:

Drama 1) 202L could not recognize 932L:  This is due to my firmware version on the 202L being outdated.  It is v1.01 out of box, and v1.02 is required for recognition.  Log on to mydlink, select 202L, tab support, download v1.02 firmware which is a "bin" file; tab my devices, find your 202L, go setting, connect then go NVR info, go maintenance, go firmware update, then browse for the bin file and proceed as instructed.
