L2tp vpn disconnect after 5-30min
« on: January 16, 2020, 11:10:14 PM »

Hi I want to use a vpn in my dlink router, I have tried two different providers with same resultat.
I tried reconnect on demand and always on options and mtu to 1400.

I run latest 1.20 firmware,  I am thinking on moving on to ddwrt but that feels so bad. Becouse I cannot get vlan tagging to work with ddwrt.
I am stuck between a rock and a hard place here.

One more question, how safe are l2tp without amy psk that  dlink dir-882 supports?

Reinstalled it to 1.0 and is on 1.11 all seems to work better now. Had so much problem with 5ghz wifi on 1.2.

But how safe is l2tp connection with only username and password to protected the connection?
