DIR-300 Brick - UBoot blocked - Please Help
« on: November 19, 2015, 08:39:28 PM »

Hi Guys, i got a DIR-300 used as cable-connected repeater, was working well when last day i don't reach WiFi service and when i go in the garage to see what is happen i see the power led in amber color, after several power on/off i've tried to reset using the button, but nothing seems to be changed.
I've tried to do an emergency boot but nothing, tried to make a 30/30/30 but nothing, so i take my RS323 cable and solder pins in the board to see the log.

The Eth don't connect cause is not initialized, it search for an USB port ( that haven't ) but i don't think is incisive.

The router boot normal and then crash after icache and dcache values display. (tried to leave it and after 30 minutes nothing change)

Here is the LOG:

If this process fails:
Emergency Recovery Mode

Then the router needs to be replaced. Good Luck.

Thanks but the reply don't meet the question, i've already try this And the problem described is another.
Does DLink have any warranty under fail devices? I think this is a factory issue, i've receive this ap in bundle whit wimax station but never used before 5 years, after 5 months of work it auto fail. The other dir300 i got was working non stop by 3 years then i've replaced Whit this, but now this one too has died.
This don't meet the DLink quality standards.

D-Link warranty is usually 90days or 1year depending.

If you received this in a ISP package from a ISP installation, then this falls under the ISP responsibility as they sometimes maintain FW and SW on HW they hand out to there customers. You'll need to contact the ISP if this router came from them. You can also phone contact your regional D-Link support office for additional help and information on D-Links support and warranty policies. Good Luck.
