Title: Track DDOS attacker?
Post by: Kitkat on May 08, 2014, 06:06:10 PM
Hello, for the past few days some one is attacking me with a Ddos. Does the DIR-865L have a tracking system/log where you can see the attacker's IP?

Other info:
Why don't you just buy a VPN?
I don't want to spend money on a VPN

When did this started happening?
Started last week, when I was playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 [PS3]

How are you sure that it is a Ddos attack?
Every time I join a match, my whole team gets disconnected.

It may or may not be a DOS attack, rather a possible configuration issue...Let see if you can provide some information so we can get a better idea of your set up please.

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

Does this only happen when playing PS games or this particular game? Do other games do the same thing?

VPN is not needed for gaming.

You can review the router logs an ensure all logging is enabled to see if there are any issues here.

Lets gather some info first...
