WBR1310 Rev D still disconnecting
« on: August 09, 2009, 01:37:54 PM »

Using a WBR 1310 which was recently  RMA'd under warranty. THe old one was a RevB and the wireless using WPA TKIP/PSK was disconnecting and not reconnecting. The replacement Rev D2 router with Firnware 4.13 is still disconnecting but it reconnects. The laptop and router are in two separate rooms about 15 ft apart. The signal has to go through one wall and its Are there any other settings that I can tweak? I have tried channel 1, 11 and autoseek with no affect. Its signal is the strongest wireless signal in the area and the disconnects do not occurr when microwave oven in on nor when wireless phones being used.

Using Win XP Pro SP3 w 2 GB RAM.

Well today I got the replacemnt for the first replacement router and there is no difference. Streaming video refuses to  play without stopping after a while. A linksys wrt54gl does not have that problem.
