SD Management shows no SD Recordings for January 1, 2013...
« on: January 01, 2013, 10:44:24 AM »

Good grief.  I log into the camera and check the SD Management for my SD recordings and I see that it shows no recordings for today (2013-01-01).  I know for a fact the camera should have recorded several files because I was working outside right in front of the camera earlier today.  But it is not showing any recordings for January 1, 2013 in SD Management at all.

Big Fail.

I rebooted the camera and it started making SD recordings again.  There is definitely a problem with either the date rolling over to 01-01 from 12-31 or the camera just failing to record after a time for some unknown reason.

You can test that theory by manually rolling back the date and try recording again. . .  ???

Regardless of why it may have happened, the fact remains that my camera failed to make SD recordings for whatever reason, and it started working again after reboot.  That is something for your developers to look at.

. . . That is something for your developers to look at.

FYI, I volunteer my time on this forum and am not a D-Link employee.

Does DLink look at these forums?  I was under the impression that this was an official DLink forum.

This is the official D-Link forum, administered and managed by D-Link. I was invited to serve as a moderator.

Ok gotcha.  So hopefully some developer at DLink will see my bug reports and act on them.

I highly recommend phone contacting DLink support for any problems that can not be fixed here in the forums with our help. There are some problems that we can not help resolve. To get quicker problem solving and better visability of the problem with DLink support and engineers, is best to call in and get the problem solving ball rolling directly with DLink. Lets us know what they say.
