Title: mydlink lite 3.4.3 Update DCS-5222L Problem

The new Iphone update 3.4.3 has rendered my DCS-5222L unmovable. All movement controls are greyed out and unresponsive.  Checking itunes reviews of the update confirms it broke a number of models.  Will try to rollback the update in itunes.

Canada
5222L is H/W A3
ios 8.1.3

Also have a 5010L which has no problem at all with the update

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Thanks.  Did talk to local support, transferred up to a specialist who thought it might be a bug in the update as it relates to this model.  Deleted and reinstalled the app.  Was able to get finger dragging working but had no control of direction.  No feedback on the screen via red rectangle.  Presets not working and are still greyed out.

Ya, seems like its specific with this model and the lastest update of the app. I'd keep in touch with D-Link and would presume it would be fixed with the next update of the app.  :-\

Got an actual return phone call from d-ink support today re: the 3.4.3 update and the DCS-5222l.  He said they were able to reproduce the problem in the lab, and therefore would be issuing an update to the mydlink lite app in about 4 weeks.

This same problem seems to be happening with the DCS5009L here in the USA.

I attacked this problem from every angle.  Posted on the mydlink facebook page also along with numerous others.  They actually respond there too.  Got a message from them there to update my iphone ios to the new v8.3 as they indicate it seem to solve the issue, for the 5222L at least.  Updated yesterday and my 5222L is controllable again.  Will post back if it stops.
