Limitation on Special Characters for WiFi Password
« on: December 26, 2019, 06:54:02 PM »

I was hoping that I could just drop my new DIR-3060 EXO Mesh WiFi Router in place of my D-Link COVR-3902 system.  Unfortunately, it appears that passwords now have a limitation on special characters.  I can no longer use my old password for a seamless upgrade.  Unless there is a way to  allow an expanded set of special characters I will have to reset that password on all devices.  NOT GOOD.  Anyone have any suggestions to resolve this?

What are these special characters your using?
What FW version is currently loaded? v1.01 is most current I see.

Probably something I would contact D-Link support about and let them know that they work on the 3902 however not on the 3060 router...
