Hiding a folder
« on: March 06, 2012, 09:20:48 AM »

I know I can hide a folder on my NAS by renaming it with a "." in front of the name, however what if I want to run programs in this folder.
For example, when installing the add-ons shareport or firefly.itunes, it makes the directory Nas_Prog. I would liek to hide this folder so that my family when viewing the NAS for theur files, can't see the directory. However if I hide it, the add-ons will not run. is there some other was to do this?
