Aftermarket infrared illuminators
« on: December 02, 2012, 12:45:58 AM »

Anyone using an aftermarket infrared illuminator with the dcs camera ?  Have you used the digital interface or is it a unit that has a sensor that switches it on in low light.

Any cheap recommendations and hints on connecting to the dcs series cameras.

Thanks

Paul

There are a number of DCS owners on these boards that have successfully used (or are currently using) third-party IR illuminators and posted their experiences. I don't recall if specific brands were mentioned. You may want to try performing an advanced forum search confined to all of the boards in the mydlink section.
