Title: Red Light on my PowerLine N150AV
Post by: FerPeru on April 23, 2020, 04:59:22 PM
Hi Guys ! Greetings from PERU !
I've got this Powerline N150AV ( 1 DHP-208AV , 1 DHP-W220AV), so my router connected unit DHP-208AV, usually works fine but sometimes Powerline LED turns RED, half time in green , half time in red. And during RED time connection on DHP-W220AV fails or got slow.
Any tip or advise
Thanks
FER

Red powerline LED usually means the adapter can no longer communicate with other powerline adapter. Is it solid red or blinking?

Try a different power outlet. Move the 208av first and test. If still turns red, move the w220av to another outlet and try again. Do not connect to surge protector or power bar with other devices plugged in.

Does this happen when units are idle or during use?

Last resort, reset both units back to default settings and setup again. Maybe move both to same room to test connectivity.
