Port forwarding needed for Digital output??
« on: January 31, 2017, 01:57:19 PM »

I have my camera port forwarded through my router so I can see the camera on my phone on my wifi and on cellular. But when on cellular the button for advanced options is greyed out and cant be accessed... Do I need more ports than 80 forwarded or is something else I am missing?

What model camera do you have?
What Mfr and model router do you have?
What Mfr and model ISP modem do you have?

Only thing I've done is is to set up the WAN IP address that you get from your ISP to view cameras remotely and to set up another setting for a local LAN side connection while your at home. No port forwarding should be needed.

DCS-5222L
unifi router
comcast personal motorolla modem

I have 2 profiles setup as you describe one with pub IP and one with local IP
The local one when on wifi works perfect
The one with the wan address when on cellular shows video just greys out the advanced controls

Possible that it may not be supported when on cellular.
