Are DHP-P701AV and D-Link DHP-W611AV compatible?
« on: January 02, 2020, 09:31:24 AM »

I have two units for DHP-P701AV to extend my LAN to a place in my house.  I would like to add a unit from DHP-W611AV (specifically, the component that creates a mini wifi network, i think it is the AC1200), and was wondering if they would work together (the AC1200 would connect to the existing devices in the two AV2 2000s).  Anyone know or have thoughts?  I can get the W611AV in Canada, is exactly what i need in my house for my problem.

thank you.

I presume they may not be. However could be based on just simple power connection. I'm not sure if PLs are limited with in there model spec or not. You might look at the user manuals or spec sheets to see if they are.

If staples has a good return policy, you might try the 611 out and see. If not then you can always return the 611.
