802.11n Final Specification
« on: November 10, 2009, 08:44:04 AM »

I was wondering if D-Link was going to release a firmware update for the DIR-615 Hardware Revisions B&C? I have the DIR-615 with Hardware Revision B and find that its the best hardware revision for the DIR-615 and was wondering since 802.11n was no longer in draft 2.0 specification and now it has been finalized now the will there be a firmware to make this router to support the final specification and will there be a firmware update or do I have to buy another future D-Link wireless router model ex: DIR-6XX? The Wi-Fi also notes devices that were certified with the official Draft 2.0 Specification should have no problems updating to the final specification since there was no hardware changes in the requirements needed please someone advise on how to approach this new specification. I would hate to have to buy another router and throw a good plastic router into the landfill.  :-\

Hardware wise should be nothing.. All draft n should be able to meet n specs with new firmware..
