WBR-2310: Dead, can't upgrade firmware
« on: January 23, 2011, 12:24:13 AM »

I have a WBR-2310 (H/W rev A1 F/W ver 1.02) that is essentially dead.
I can connect through ethernet, give myself a static IP and log into the router but all I see on 192.168.0.1 is the crash recovery / upgrade firmware screen

I've tried uploading F/W 1.02, 1.03, 1.04, and now 1.05 but it takes ages, the upload stops halfway, and then I  can't log into the router again until I do a hard reset (reset for 10 s, pull the power plug, wait 10 s, plug it back in still holding the reset for 10 s).

Wash rinse repeat.

Is it just bricked?
Any tricks to get it active again?

Thanks
