DIR 842 is not on the revised firmware list for a fix to resolve the KRACK vulnerability. Does anyone know if/when there will be an update to address KRACK?
-
If it is not listed HERE (http://supportannouncement.us.dlink.com/announcement/publication.aspx?name=SAP10075), it most likely is not affected (but I do not know 100% for sure).

Make sure your clients are updated and you have the latest Windows/macOS, iOS, and Android updates. Remember the KRACK vulnerability can only be exploited if a hacker is within Wi-Fi range of your network AND a client is negotiating with the router/access point (i.e. a reboot or powered on).

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
