Title: DGS-1500-28 - Trunk mode on 802.1q VLAN
Post by: MG37 on April 16, 2014, 10:34:34 PM
Hi,

Sorry for my english talking, I'm french, so I hope that you'll understand me.
I've bought a DGS-1500-28 switch and I don't know how to enable trunking mode on a port.
This switch replace a Cisco Catalyst-3500.
I've configured 2 VLANs (VLAN1 (default) and VLAN7 (SIPTraffic)) with 802.1Q encapsulation.
So I've tagged the ports as I've configured my Cisco Switch, but I don't know how to configure the trunk mode.
Please, help me.

Thanks.

Hi, MG37

1. VLAN > 802.1Q VLAN:
a) Open Vlan 1
b) Select required ports as Tagged
c) Press "Apply" button

2. VLAN > 802.1Q VLAN:
a) Press "Add" button
* VID = 7
* VLAN name = sip
* VLAN advertisement = Enabled
b) Select required ports as Tagged
c) Press "Apply" button

See D-Link DGS-1500-28 User Manual -> 802.1Q VLAN:
