I want to buy this router but firmware update are not releasing in india. Last firmware i see is v1.09 Build 04
Are there any plans for releasing fw updates in india?

The India region may have not posted resent updates as of yet. Each D-Link region does things a bit differently.
I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

Contact D-Link? :D :D I think i will have better luck meeting prime minister of india than getting a proper response from D-Link India.
Our D-Link website design has not changed since 10 years i don't think d-link india care about firmware updates
Are there any restriction in frequency for NA region firmware?

There maybe some restrictions. Not sure. You can load it and test. If it doesn't seem to work for you, then you could load the prior version.
